Here's to the Girls!!

I receive this today in an email from my SIL and loved it so much I had to share it!

HERE'S TO THE GIRLS!!!

Here's to you! Why do we only have parties for each other when one of us gets married, pregnant, has a birthday, or retires? What would most of us do without our sisters, confidants, and shopping, lunching and traveling girlfriends? Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake!

Someone will always be prettier.
Someone will always be smarter.

Their house will be bigger.

They will drive a better car.

Their children will do better in school.

And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go, Be Happy!
And love yourself and your circumstances.
Think about it.

The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes....might be lonely.
And the word says if "I have not Love, I have nothing."

So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say

"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!"
I like that!
"Winners make things happen.
Losers let things happen"

Be Blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman.
"To the world you might be one person,
But to one person you just might be the world".

HERE'S TO YOU, MY FRIENDS

Nothing to blog about today!

I have nothing to blog about today!
My mind is blank, it has been one of those days!!
So I seen these at my friend Rachel's blog and decided to take them also~

You Are 30% Boyish and 70% Girlish

Even if you're not a girl, you're very feminine.
You're in touch with your feelings, and your heart rules you.
A bit of a emotional roller coaster, one moment you're up and the next you're down.
But no matter what, you try to be as cute and perky as possible.

Your Inner Child Is Surprised

You see many things through the eyes of a child.
Meaning, you're rarely cynical or jaded.
You cherish all of the details in life.
Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things.

Your Eyes Should Be Brown

Your eyes reflect: Depth and wisdom

What's hidden behind your eyes: A tender heart

Your True Birth Month Is June

Quiet......

Shhhh.....

Do you hear that?

I bet you didn't hear anything.....because

That's right it is the sound of a Quiet House

Our house is usually Loud and with 4 kids I do mean Loud

But tonight we just have Jake with us, Grandma took Ashley & Logan for a sleepover and Tyler is sleeping out at his friend's house!

So tonight feels extremely quiet to me!

With just one there is no one to fight with, no one to tease, no one to be loud and silly with!

I like the quiet but at the same time I miss the noise and commotion of our loud family....

That is until tomorrow night when I am sure I will be yelling "Quiet Down!", "Stop teasing your brothers", "Did you hear what I said Balls are for throwing outside not in", and the famous "Alright who hit who first"

I am sure those of you with more then one child gets the pictures! Especially those with boys in the house!

and then I will be thinking "What I wouldn't give for a few minutes of peace and quiet around here"

There's a New Sheriff in Town~

Logan loves the dollar store and when he has a dollar to spend he wants to go there, we try to talk him out of it!
Because everything Logan buys there...

!

Well his newest dollar store buy, lasted all about 1 hour before the dart gun broke and then without that the other pieces were useless to him.
Maybe next time he will learn to save the dollars to buy something he really wants, something that will last or maybe a crisp new dollar and the pull of the dollar store will win him over again!
Till then a Sheriff ruled over our house for an HOUR and kept us all safe from harm....

27 Years of Friendship and counting....

27 years of Friendship and counting.....

Simple v Real Friendship
by Chen Qin

A simple friend identifies himself when he calls.
A real friend doesn't have to.

A simple friend opens a conversation with a full news bulletin on his life.
A real friend says, "What's new with you?"
A simple friend thinks the problems you whine about are recent.
A real friend says, "You've been whining about the same thing for 14 years. Get off your duff and do something about it."
A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.

A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!
